FIRST CLASS: March 18th 2025 • 6:00pm - 8:30pm

COURSE LENGTH: Weekly, for 8 weeks. Due to Easter, we will run for 4 weeks, followed by a 2-week break, then the remaining 4 weeks.

DESCRIPTION: This level is perfect for beginners or those seeking to refine their wheel-throwing basics. Students will focus on mastering foundational skills such as centering, pulling walls, and creating simple, functional forms. The course emphasizes consistency in technique and introduces students to the process of glazing and finishing their work. Students will be encouraged to keep only a few of the best examples of their terms work. We will not be able to glaze and fire everything you make as a beginner but you will go home with a small collection to be proud of.

KEY SKILLS:
+ Basic wheel throwing skills
+ Creating functional forms
+ Introduction to glazing

*Classes beginning in March will be broken by an Easter break
